About this listen

Serenity has been forced to hide away from a world where supernaturals, dragon shifters specifically, now rule, and the human population have been forced into subjugation.

Nothing has more value in this new world order than being a human female of mating age. Supernaturals want them, and human families want the riches that come from their daughters being claimed.

Driven out of hiding to survive, Serenity meets her worst nightmare in the form of the Praetor clan of dragons, who discover her and claim she is their Innamorata.

But that's not all: She soon realizes there are dark forces at play and dangerous whispers among her fellow humans.

Will Serenity be able to keep the freedom that she values the most, and deny the soul deep connection to five of the most possessive and determined dragon men in existence? Or, when secrets are revealed, will she choose them and with their help, save the world from plunging once more into darkness?

Contains mature themes.

Great

Loved it. The best dragon shifter series I have read/ listened too. I hope the author does more in the series.

good plot but not fully developed

good plot, but the story, post bond-accepting & pre-pregnancy was rushed & undeveloped. There was no exploration of her unique eliteness. & disappointingly for a RH, the FMC only fully-sexually bonded with 1 of her mates in this book....it's so disappointing that this story was underdeveloped in multiple areas.

Length

The story was very good but, long making you feel like it was dragging. Love momenta’s she gave to her dragons in remembrance of her father.

Good story

The concept is good, the overarching plot line interesting, but the book feels imbalanced. Too much repetitive information, unfulfilled storylines and crucial data left to the reader’s imagination in the first 3/4 of book. Then once the bonding ceremony happened everything felt rushed and contradictory to the what was disclosed before.
There was also a lack of passion or excitement between the dragonmen and Serenity. And the bonding took too long to occur and was then rushed through.
Finally, for all of Serenity’s purported “self-reliance” she turned out to be incompetent when it counted and her men slow as molasses when she was in the only truly dangerous situation.

Very slow burn

A little disappointed in the FMC. Thought she was going to be this really bada## character, but not so much. Ending was rushed. Weirdest RH I’ve read so far. Didn’t solidify bonds with all mates. In fact all of the relationships were a little off.
