The book was similar to past books but with different twists. While I was a bit disappointed with the book 6, I found I actually enjoyed this book, except for the ending. Without giving away any spoilers, the ending left a few open questions. Questions that either presages a book 8 or simply means they will remain unanswered.

Jeffrey Kafer's narration caliber is so good that it is always amazing to hear him mimic such a variety of voices which are obvious as to their gender and even having different dialects.

okay so the story was beyond amazing. However standing at the end I have a burning question that really needs answered. what was the extra gene set that Mitchell had? did I miss that somewhere?

The journey was an epic struggle optimistic that majority of people, even the bad apples, will fight to save humanity against all odds. I appreciate that the author actually gave a happy ending. It is depressing to me that so many authors will write a long epic series and end it with sadness. Thank you M.R. Forbes!!!!!!

This final book is an excellent end to a fantastic series. These seven books have told an action-packed suspense-filled story that I did not want to put down. I love this author. The places his books go are all-consuming while reading his books.
