This isn't the Holy Grail of indie publishing, this is some dude, (me), telling you how I make money on Kindle.
There aren't any tricks or magic formulas in this one. There isn't even an elaborate tale of how I just cashed in a million from my yarns.
No, I haven't made a million, but I am making a living. Bit by bit, it's coming along. And that's how it should be. Bit by bit.
This book is about getting down to what matters, and that is making an honest writer out of you. Does that mean I'm advocating myself as an honest soul? No, I'm evil remember! What I'm trying to do is show you that if your passion is writing and telling a damn good story then this will be the book for you.
I'll tell you about my experiences in the self-publishing world and how it takes a whole lot more than catchy covers and keywords to get your book to the best sellers. It also takes more than one book. It might take 10. It took seven for me and even then I wasn't' making millions and still aren't. But am I happy with my progress? Damn right. Am I paying bills? Yes Sir! Am I a millionaire? No, I am not! Does it matter? No! If you want to earn money as a writer, you need to write and be thankful for every book you sell. It's not a race and I'll show you why in this book.
Don't trust those evil so-called authors who promote misleading titles and game the system. It's all about the books and keeping those lovely people we call our listeners happy. Fail in that, and you can suck on a coconut!

Useful down to earth adviseAny additional comments?
Look past the title and the cover, this has some actual useful advice. It talks about hard work, about not believing the doomsayers of the indie publishing world, about doing your own thing. It's a rant, but a useful one. I totally agreed on some points, on others I disagreed but all in all it is a very down to earth introduction to indie publishing.I was given a free copy for an honest review.
Surprisingly good

I must say that I was not expecting what I got... A blunt, humorous how-to for anyone interested in getting their written work out to the masses. Anyone interested in writing will not only get some useful information from this book, but will have a good time in the process.
I was surprised how young the author was as well. It took a lot of skill and talent for something that flowed as well as this did. This was definitely a worthwhile read.
The narrator was also top-notch. He brought the already good listen to life with his animated tone throughout the book.
5 Stars!
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, publisher, or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I was NOT required to write a positive review and this reflects my honest opinion of the work.

JAY PRICHARD does a fantastic job narrating. He's also very inspiring with his upbeat, positive cadence. He's a greatly skilled voice actor and he was THE perfect reader for this audiobook. I'm left feeling good and in my yet to be written book, that's a win/win. I'd definitely recommend this book for anyone but especially for aspiring authors.
This audiobook was gifted to me for an honest review.
Awesome and Well Worthy of Five Stars

Jay had a fab voice and although sometimes the 'internal narrator' of the author is condescending, he gets a pass from me for it. It's full of life and doesn't make you feel bad. It does have some great tips in here, and worth a listen for those alone.
Well worth a listen :)
Entertaining

We are given many examples of how this author is making it in the publishing business and these stories are always true to life but definitely offered in a positive light. Feeling unmotivated as a writer? Give this one a listen and you'll be writing again in no time!
The narration here is also fantastic. 5 stars to the narrator!
