Publisher's summary

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts returns with the classic tales of the MacKade brothers - their rebellions, their passions, and their loves.

Shane MacKade enjoyed everything about women - the look of them, the smell of them, the taste of them. So the last thing he expected was to become a one-woman man. And even more surprising is that it's the Ph.D.-toting academic Rebecca McKnight who has him headed for a fall. Could Shane's days as a bachelor be coming to an end?

Farm boy and Becky

I need these books to be longer! Nora Roberts really knows how to write the perfect story. She sucks you in and then abruptly ends the book! I need more ha ha.

The narrator was too much!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The story was good,as most of Nora Roberts are.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shane himself. As with all the MacKade brothers...yummmm

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Luke Daniels?

Luke Daniels has a wonderful voice, but honestly he should never attempt women or children voices! Almost didn't get through the series because of him. Rebecca's voice was the absolute most ridiculous. For being a genius, and for being someone that might interest the suave Shane..she sounded like a little baby! It was difficult to get by.

The fall of Shane

Another great listen from Nora Roberts. I enjoyed this story about opposite people falling in love. I will keep listening to stories from this author and this narrator.

THE BEST OF THE FOUR!

I've purchased and listen to all 4 books in this series. I've been a Nora Roberts fan for many years. This is the first time that I can truthfully say that I recommend reading vs listening to these books. In each book, the MacKade boys ALL scream at each other and at their love interests. Therefore, when Luke Daniels screams or yells, it totally turns me off. I just think reading would have a little less negative impact. As for Luke Daniels narrative talent, I'm not sure what he would be like in a different setting. So far, he's not my favorite.

The story line on all four were just ok. Now that I'm finished with the series, I'm going back to something with more depth to the story.
