About this listen

In this classic romance from New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts, one woman will discover that love has the power to overcome all barriers.

Irish lass Adelia Cunnane had entered a fairy tale! Working at the world-renowned Royal Meadows stables was a dream come true. She was determined to prove her worth, especially to the stables' owner - the very opinionated and ruggedly handsome Travis Grant. Princesses weren't the only ones who could have a happily ever after!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The story was so good from beginning to end and presented so well by Nora Robert’s. This is one of my favorite audio books, from being a delightful Irish story, to not wanting to put it down.

Great Book

Haven’t read a Nora Roberts book I didn’t love. This is really a cute romance story! I would recommend this to any one looking for a cute rom com! Great grab it!

Another great one!

Pretty simplistic and too short for the development of a real relationship. One thing that annoyed me —— when the book began Adelia’s hair was red, in the middle it was chestnut, and toward the end it was auburn!
Which was it??

So this was Nora’s first novel — and it shows

I enjoyed the simplicity of the story, with the hope of happy ever after. Nora, bever fails to entertain.

Happy ever after

The narration was hard to listen to. The narrator’s voice had the same intonation throughout the reading. The story line was too predictable!

I'm used to Nora Roberts thrillers and this is just a romance, but it was fun and the narrator did a wonderful job with the Irish accents. I would listen to "Irish Rose: Irish Hearts #2" but its not available on Audible. Bummer.

A fun story

Always enjoy a Nora story about the Irish! The narrator did a wonderful job with the sweet bronze and the other characters. Loved when Adelia took her first ride on Champion, surprising Travis! I especially liked Paddy, the character of her uncle. The romance is really just like any Harlequin, especially with the late addition of "the other woman" but it's still an enjoyable story to listen to and a nice few hours of escapism!

GOOD STORY, LOVED THE NARRATOR

A few issues with story content. I follow horse racing and I am sure things I noticed others did not. Story was brief and a bit strange how he almost seemed like a predator. The narrator was difficult to like, very monotone and a weird way of ending her words.

Too brief for this level of romance

I liked this story. Wished I had read the book instead of listening. Nora Roberts is a fantastic author so I saw the book thru. And I'm glad I did. It's a good story. The narrator hired for this job, however, sounded like a woman of her forties-maybe not a young woman of twenty-three.

The narrator was awful
