Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy.

Story
In a secret, subterranean world beneath the prairie of the Old West, a homesteader risks her life in search of a safe haven. A workman in Andrew Carnegie's steel mills is turned into a medical oddity by the brutal power of the furnaces. A young woman created through genetic manipulation is destroyed by the same force that gave her life. With her distinctive blend of magical realism, science, and poetic prose, Anjali Sachdeva demonstrates a preternatural ability to laser in on our fears, our hopes, and our longings in order to point out intrinsic truths about society and humanity.

It is a celebration of how passion can be ageless and timeless, a tale that moves us to laughter and tears and makes us believe in true love all over again . . .

From New York to Paris, Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald reigned as king and queen of the Jazz Age, seeming to float on champagne bubbles above the mundane cares of the world. But to those who truly knew them, the endless parties were only a distraction from their inner turmoil and from a love that united them with a scorching intensity.

Covers all emotions
I enjoyed the story and the narration. Covers every emotion, it has adventure, comedy, sometimes sad and reflective then other times there's excitement about what's next. Looking forward to book 2.

Strange how a broken heart can be mended
This is a young female's story of running from a past relationship, only to be soothed and calmed by another also needing solace.
It is an acknowledgement of the difficulties of lesbian and straight female interactions, the confusion and mixed feelings that can be generated over a very short time, and how friendship can blossom when sharing grief and emotions.
The narrator did a fantastic job of the Irish accents.

Great Short Story
This is a great quick listen about a woman recovering from her broken heart. She makes new friends and changes the course of her life all in this short read. All this happens without the listener/reader feeling like they missed any important details. I look forward to listening to more in this series.
