About this listen

Jack

For the last ten years, I've roamed the globe, captivated by the world around me. I've seen the seven wonders and admired sunsets from every continent. I've lived and loved, and that was enough for me. It would have to be. I was content, satisfied with my collection of experiences... until a phone call led me down a road less traveled.

If I'd known my fascination would pique and be forever quenched only a few hundred miles from where my curiosity had been born, I may have never set sail.

Rose

Stripped of the future I'd planned with the love of my life, my family and my career are now all that matter.

I've lived and loved, and that was enough. It would have to be. I struggled to move forward, to discard the part of me that held out hope for my obliterated heart. But I was bred a romantic, so it was easier said than done.

The chances of being struck by lightning are 1 in 960,000. The odds of being struck twice are 1 in 9 million. I risked those odds every minute, often cursing the dark sky, praying for static and a rumble of thunder, but it never came.

No, that second bolt hit me on a clear day.

Narrated in duet style. Books in the Reluctant Romantics series must be listened to in order.

Just.. wow

I laughed, I cried.. I cried some more, and then put back together.

This story was so impactful.
It’s about love & loss, and finding yourself through the grief, and moving forward.

It was worth every single tear.

The narrators were phenomenal!

Beautiful!

I loved the ending of this beautiful story. Rose and Jax were end game for sure, both healing so much within each other. Just a spectacular way to end this series and the narration was absolutely amazing!

an amazing ending to Rose's story

Kate Stewart is the only author that can make me cry. this story was amazing. I was devastated by "The mind". I'm so glad Rose got an HEA. this was more of a realistic set of stories. to find love after such a loss. all of the complicated emotions that come with it. there were so many layers to this story and these characters.

the narrators did amazing. didn't know I thought Cajun accents were hot. new kink unlocked. loved the duet narration too.

it took me half the book to realize, Rose and Jack...Titanic. can't believe it took me so long.

listen to this book. cautiously listen to "the mind" first though. this was worth the devastation of that book. makes this book so much more satisfying. I can't recommend this enough. this author is something else. you need to be emotionally prepared to listen to her books, but it's so worth it.
