About this listen

It started the moment I woke up in hospital; I naively believed I would find myself alone.

I was wrong, because the HellBeast King wasn’t done with me.

Far from it, in fact, as he told me he had made a vow...a vow to keep me safe.

But as my fate started to unravel, revealing more and more pieces of him at the core, I couldn’t help but question: was his vow to keep me safe, or was it simply a HellBeast’s fight to keep me?

I cannot stand Ella’s character; she displays too many contradictory behaviors. Ella also has to win the award for doing and saying dumb stuff. The narrator cannot pronounce the letter “T” unless the word begins with it. Just a complete turn off. There is a few funny parts in the story. Narrator did a good job with characters.

Unlikable main character

The reader is amazing and get into the story and makes it more thank you. I love the whole series and can’t put it down this is my second time i read this now I’m listening to it. So worth it I love how his chosen ones starts to brake him down little by little and softens his demeanor and falls for Ella ❤️

Thank you

I loved this book, Jared sounds so sexy and Orth is funny as heck. I feel so bad for Ella, she struggles so much. Her condition scares me for crying out loud. She is so strong to just keep going. I wish she felt like she could talk to her family about what is going on, but then again.. I see why. She is so loyal to her cousin. This series is so good and I am addicted and not ashamed of it. I cannot wait to see how this plays out. I love Marcus too, oh and smidge of course!!!!

Amazing.... I love it

Best series

The intensity build and build to a frantic level. The burgeoning relationship between our hot Hellbeast and poor, broken, damaged Ella is just in it's infancy. The back and forth between both characters is so true to life and yet so unimaginable. I truly can't wait to learn what happens next!

Things just get more intense!

This book could have been told in less than three hours and been better for it. How many chapters does it need to take to get discharged and leave the hospital?! This book is mostly filler with needless descriptions that do nothing to tell the story. Describing clothes, rooms, furniture, looks, thoughts... you get the point? As for the narration: this girl needs to learn how to read. She bounces between American, British, Irish, and cockney accents. She reads words with "t" sounds as "uh". Better is beh-uh. Wanted is wah-ed. She says words that end with ing as in. Of is said as uh. She doesn't say house, she says ouse. Have is ave. It is very irritating. A narrator should have the ability to read a book. Sorry for the rant, but I'm really ticked off. Hudson creates an amazing world but ruins it by telling you all about each piece of clothing and forgetting to write about the actual plot. I'm the type that has to finish a book once I start, but I'm doing a lot of fast forwarding without missing anything in the story. I wouldn't recommend this series. Especially on Audible because the narrator only makes an already annoying book painful to listen to.

Get to the point and a new narrator
