About this listen

The land of Alusia is on the brink of war as two men have each claimed the throne. Only the true king can sound the Horn of Moran and prove his nobility. But the Horn has been lost for years. If it is not found - and soon - it could mean the destruction of an entire nation. It wasn’t that long ago that young Alexander Taylor embarked on his first adventure, where he discovered he was a wizard and destroyed the fearsome dragon, Slathbog.

Now he joins a band of seasoned adventurers who have been called up to retrieve the legendary Horn of Moran. Their journey to the mysterious Tower of the Moon will take them through an enchanted forest, into battle against a goblin army, past the watchful eyes of griffin guards, and face-to-face with a sphinx and her deadly riddles. With his sword, Moon Slayer, and the wise counsel of his wizard mentor, Whalen Vankin, Alex must use all his wizard and warrior skills to fight a darkness that may consume them all.

so this book is a conundrum for me. The storyline is good but not great and the character development seems too easy. It is like the may character is being set up to be the most powerful wizard in the books history but he hasn't had to go through what I would consider a serious struggle to get there. It seems as if the main character just always happens to know what to do when he needs to do it and never stumbles in ability or Morales. But, on the other hand this world is built up on honor. It has good values and lots of good characters. The book makes me want to be a bit better and seems like a fantastic book to listen to with your children.

This is a typical fantasy story with a solid story. The performance was good with voices for each character. E B. Stevens has a great reading technique which I always enjoy. This second story was as enjoyable as the first.

Solid Adventure Story

I appreciate the story line, and not having any social engineering placed in the story. It’s a clean book for youngsters and adults as well! I truly enjoyed the listen and ready to start the next book!!!

Wonderful Book

It's a good story it pulls you win but it's not original if you read other really good series like the hobbit and harry potter in fable haven although Siri you'll realize that adventures wanted is not original and really the main character just has to much power OK I've said this over and over again but you don't give your main character that much power and you can be humble to a point but after that point it gets kind of ridiculous he's always trying to find a way for him to have not done it for example in the first box sync about the troll seen where we seen that before it's an exact copy down to the words are used seriously it's like he rewrote the hobbit all terrible though it does pull you win at first but after a while it just kind of goes downhill

It's OK
