Ok, so I find the selflessness and concern for his people is sweet and admirable, but after a certain point it just gets foolish. Not because he shouldn’t try to save them or risk his life for them. But his shortsightedness and stubbornness make it harder to accomplish that. He gives all his protection away to people who aren’t going anywhere, then charges off without anything in an attempt to save others, now less likely to succeed in saving them. He doesn’t listen to anyone, accept help from anyone. His motto definitely is “minimize chance of success then MAXIMUM EFFORT!”
Maybe HE should grow and learn.
I feel like I keep hearing the same conversations , mental or otherwise, or seeing the same scenario play out again and again
If you are going to try to give your character very poor self awareness in an area, it becomes counterproductive to repeatedly have conversations about that area with multiple people ad nauseum.
And I don’t get why suddenly Jervis started calling him Hans . Not sure what I missed.
But I’m still addicted maybe I just need a Doc vacation

I’m still addicted but some aspects of doc are getting overdone.

Within 13 minutes I was gut punched with deep emotion. The roller-coaster of of ups, downs, and wrist didn't stop from there.

the author and narrator continue to exceed expectations.

I'm really enjoying these stories. This one wasn't a favorite because the plot was weak. But the story is always fun to run along with.

Always want more

These books are so good! I cannot get enough! If you haven't read, or listened to this series, you don't know what you're missing. The narrator of these books, is delightful. He gives the character s so much personality. 100 out of 10 stars!!
