This series has a super slow burn romance. The author really builds the MCs relationship and doesn’t just throw them I to bed. The one s*x scene is fade to black in book 3. The story line is so well written and Keeps the reader engaged.

Deducted one star for over the top melodrama. Wished the drama and body count would chill a bit. Well written and excellent portrayal of moral dilemmas. Hope there will be another book in this series. I’m getting very attached to the characters. Wish they wouldn’t get injured and or stalked. Maybe the author can let her characters enjoy some more relaxing time together?
