With all the world scrambling after the amulet, Alex and Charlotte join forces to steal it together. If only they could keep their pickpocketing hands to themselves! If Alex’s not careful, he might just steal something else - such as Charlotte’s heart.

so pleasantly surprised and a great break from books about life and death but still well written. The use of literally character references got old but the book was pure victorian camp. can't recommend enough

I thought this book so super cute and fun to listen to! I think I enjoyed the first book better, but this one was still very good! The narrator did an amazing job too!

I really enjoyed the last book but have found listening to the audiobooks of the series takes it up a notch. It really makes you appreciate the Writer’s language and easily imagined characters, even minor ones. The story is an action adventure mystery plus a comedy of manners that moves quickly, is witty with interesting twists that don’t become farcical and the level of self awareness isn’t overbearing. I had to ration myself.
