Publisher's summary

The hunt is beginning to wear Mason down…until he meets (slightly) famous fashion designer Diego. Everything sparks between them - the banter, the sex, the fiery eye contact across a crowded room. There's just one thing: Diego is already married and living his happily-ever-after, which luckily (or not) for Mason includes outside courtships. But not quite in the way he'd always imagined. Mason thought he knew what would make him happy, but it turns out the traditional life he'd expected has some surprises in store.

Carina Adores is home to highly romantic contemporary love stories where LGBTQ+ characters find their happily-ever-afters.

So good

The third book in this series that gives us a glimpse into the lives of this adorable little friend group is, IMO, the best one yet. Mason didn't really do much for me in the first two books. I didn't hate him, but I didn't feel anything for him. He was just kinda meh. When he was given his own book, what I thought was meh turned into OMG. Don't even get me started on Diego. I've already put my friends on alert to find me a guy like him. This is a wonderfully happy little book with an amazing narrator who has a sexy purr to his voice. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it if you enjoy gay romance.

Toxic!

The author must have really been working some internal hate out on this MC. Mason who consistently and unwaveringly wants a monogamous HEA is shamed into a poly relationship by the married man he falls for. Like what? And his friends are awful to him and the wife of the man sets them up and never stops meddling and is horrible to him when he decides he doesn’t want to be in a relationship where his partner is sleeping with other people. Like it’s all going to be OK if he give mason coffee in bed and pretends to be a soy with him, but mason can’t get married and live with his husband and have kids like he expressly states he wants? This was so cringey and dysfunctional.
