About this listen

The Littlest Green Beret represents a small felt hat, my stature, and all those seemingly insurmountable goals. We all face adversity amidst physical, mental, and emotional challenges, and this audiobook is about becoming self-reliant in terms of creating a powerful future. It can also become your battle plan for addressing life's challenges and the key to unlocking the leader within you.

Through my own stories of adversity, I convey how leadership development can occur every day if you're observant, reflective, and determined. This audiobook provides an overview of practical leadership principles for managing oneself, creating a personal strategy, and effectively engaging others to assist you with your own developmental objectives.

By exploring what effective leaders actually do and how they do it, you will learn the principles of personal effectiveness and how visionary leadership can develop and inspire people to achieve more than they thought they could. Leadership can be an illusion of control, but changing your perspective on everyday experiences can provide inspirational learning opportunities for personal growth and development.

Ones We Need

Decisions determine Destiny.

Jan’s insight as a little Green Beret provides us with an understanding of how we tend to limit ourselves to low resolution actions, beliefs, and accomplishments. His life serves as one of the many needed blueprints to success, and overcoming adversity. Whether your learning to take charge on the battlefield, in the office, or your own life; this book is a valuable resource to help us walk in the roads we travel. Great Read, Great Tool. -J.

Wealth of great inspiration & thought-work

Examining himself, Rutherford, as well as his experiences show the routes of his great insight.
He provides solid well thought out logical arguments for what he found worked for him and enabled him to have the distinguished career in the armed forces with boots on the ground or in the classroom.
Rutherford provides excellent thought-work for helping do your own introspective work to help you achieve your goals.
Cheers to Jan and thanks for your service and allowing us to share in what you have learned.
