About this listen

#1 New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Nora Roberts enchants again with this beloved classic about the passionate and headstrong MacGregor family.

Daniel MacGregor is at it again.

At age ninety, there is nothing the powerful patriarch of the MacGregor clan would like more than to see his three eldest granddaughters happily married. So Daniel MacGregor has handpicked three unsuspecting candidates he believes would make perfect husbands. But this might be his biggest matchmaking challenge yet; his granddaughters are so focused on their careers that marriage is the last thing on their minds. It's a good thing Daniel has a few tricks left up his sleeve....

Surprisingly good

I wasn't expecting much from this. I thought Nora was trying to milk the MacGregor books when I started this one, but I loved it! Three short stories in one book and they were quite enjoyable. If you've come this far in the series, this is worth the listen.

Daniel McGregor knows his granddaughters.

Daniel McGregor the patriarch is a very fiesty Scott. You love him more in his attempt to find his granddaughters their soul mates. He is a sneaky booger. lol
This is a classic Nora Roberts book. I read it a long long time ago.

Love the story. Hate the narration

Great story. Love the interplay. All three were different and enjoyable. Didn't like the voice of the narrator

The MacGregor Brides

Once again Daniel MacGregor sets up his Granddaughters with men he deems suitable for them. And of course the women fall for the men he selected.

Two Gems Out of Three’s Not Bad

The first two installments of grandfatherly matchmaking are varied and delightful. Nora runs out of steam for the last. The narrator’s own voice is hilariously harried but she switches deftly for each of the characters. In all, well worth spending three (!) Christmases with the MacGregors.
