Fun Short Prequel

How Ruddy got the dog. This short prequel to The Midnight Plan of the Repo Man and its ongoing series introduces Ruddy McCann and his job as a repo man and bar bouncer in the Michigan Northwoods, and shows us how his basset hound Jake came into his life. Of course there has to be a dog, this being Bruce Cameron, author of A Dog's Purpose. Succinct, to the point, and fun.

I love this series

I have read all 3 Repo Man books. They are great. I hope there will be another one. I like the characters, the family. The stories are interesting, and I like the concept of Ruddy's fiance's father inhabiting his head. Nicely written.

Great series.

I listened to the Midnight Plan of the Repo man and loved it. Book 2 was also good, but not as good as the first. It has been a few years since I listened to the Midnight Plan of the Repo Man, and I saw this short story and decided to give it a try. Now I remember why I liked these books so much. This is one of the best short stories I have read or listened to. I wish there were more books to the series.

I really enjoyed this book!

Any additional comments?

This was a fun easy going listen. I loved the relationship between the Ruddy and Alan. Even though the cast is vast, its easy to keep up with who is who and just as easy to become invested those characters. George K. Wilson ROCKS! Seriously one of the absolute best. He gives distinction and life to every single character, be they old, young, male or female ....or a dog. I laughed out loud more than once and found myself sitting in the driveway just to finish a part. I hope Bruce Cameron writes 20 more Repo Man books!

Repo man and the dog.

I enjoyed this short story. The dog stole my heart and I doubt that I am the only one that it happened to.

well worth the price

Cameron's other two (with more to come I dearly hope) books in this series are fantastic. And I was asking myself, so where did this fabulous hound dog come from? Here's the very nice story of just that.
I especially enjoyed book two which I just finished. Book two, Repo Madness, is read by a superior (IMHO) narrator. I prefer the plot and pace of it too. I do think you can read Repo Madness without reading the first in the series. You wouldn't be confused at all but you'd be missing out on a few things. similarly with this short piece.
