What do you do when you wake up to a whole new life...with dangerous urges you can't control? Medic Drake McKennan has never been good at following protocol, so she doesn't think twice about rendering emergency care when a teenager's life is at stake - even if the young girl is in the throes of Were fever and any sane human should know better. It isn't the bright shining pain of the bite or even the wrenching agonies of the fever that convinces Drake everything in her life has changed. It's the way she feels about the blonde with the wolf-gold eyes who awakens a dark hunger she can't control...and doesn't want to. Sylvan, the Alpha of the Adirondack Timberwolf Pack, is the one female Drake can't have. And the only one she craves.

Bit too many sex scenes but otherwise great.

What did you love best about The Midnight Hunt: Midnight Hunters, Book 1?
I loved this book and I am looking forward to seeing where each of the characters take me. Yes the sex scenes are graphic and hot (in my opinion) but in no way would I call this porn. This book is the beginning so I can see that the author is just trying to set the scenes and characters in place so yes the story itself may be lacking in parts but again, this is a series so I usually expect this out of a first book. What other book might you compare The Midnight Hunt: Midnight Hunters, Book 1 to and why?
This is my first experience with LL Raand or audible books with "Were" or "Vampire" characters. I enjoyed it immensely.Which scene was your favorite?
I have to say that my favorite scene was between Drake and Silvan during Drake's transition. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved the scene after Drake's transition when she was wrapped in the arms of her fellow pack. It really showed the closeness and love of the pack.I loved this book!

I gave this a look because it was Radclyffe writing under another name. That made me curious. But I sat on it a long while, not sure I’d be able to enjoy the silly werewolf premise.
I was so wrong!!
The story drew me in and wouldn’t let go!
She created her world, rich and nuanced. I can see it. It makes sense. All her creatures, the lore, come to life with depth and vivid color.
I’m invested in these characters. I can’t wait for the next piece of the story.
I think this might be the first time I’ve given a 5 star x 3 review. The narration was wonderful. This book was not read, but performed, brought to life by Maxine Mitchell.
Seriously, I don’t have enough praise for this one!
And to think I almost skipped it!
I’m glad I gave this one a chance

the narrated was amazing enjoyed her voice
love Sylvan and Drake very invested in the see how their story unfolds in the Pack too
not a big fan of Nicki but let's see how her character grows as a story continues she was just overbearing and overstepped in my opinion even if she is the second-in-command Sylvia is the alpha but you know hopefully she finds her balance
i love it

Now, while Sylvan and Drake kind of fall into instalove, for werewolves, it’s actually kind of well paced. No real complaints, but in the next book, I hope to get even more world building because I actually am very intrigued to see more of the were world, vamps, and the fairies. (but especially the vamp world)
Love All The Lesbians
