Publisher's summary

This is book five in the Holiday Series.

Paisley Hill cared about one thing—she was building her company from the ground up without accepting any money from her wealthy family to do it. That was important to Paisley, and she took her job as a consultant seriously, wanting to help companies grow and get more efficient because of her ideas.

The one thing Paisley hadn’t cared much about in years was a relationship. She’d been fine with casual dates and hookups every now and then, but Paisley had watched several of her close friends find love this year, and she tried to push the loneliness and fear of losing her friends to love out of her mind.

Trinity Pascal had an idea one day, told her best friend about it, and now, years later, they were trying to establish their new company with money from investors. Trinity loved problem-solving and brainstorming, but she wasn’t much of a fan of the day-to-day business stuff. When her business-partner-and-best-friend suggests they bring in a consultant to help, Trinity is more than surprised to see her old high school bully, Paisley Hill, walk into the building.

While Trinity definitely remembers Paisley, Paisley doesn’t seem to know who Trinity is, at first. As they navigate their work relationship, and things clearly start to move from beyond work only, both women have to decide if they’re ready for something that might just be the real thing—right in time for Paisley’s nosy mother to invite Trinity to the family Thanksgiving dinner.

All the warm and Practical fuzzy's

Once again, Nicole Pyland doesn't disappoint. I'm not sure how she does it, but I always seem to fall into relating to her characters with no effort. I wasn't sure how Paisley's story would play out since she seemed to be the most cut off of the group. But I absolutely loved watching her fall in love the way she deserved.

I love this series…

It would be impossible to choose my favorite in this series. They are all so good. I REALLY liked this one. I love how we get updates on the other characters in each book, but it never draws focus from who’s being spotlighted. I like this story a lot. We really get to know Paisley.
I like the narrator’s voice and cadence. I do have a hard time distinguishing between characters when there’s ongoing dialog, however. But overall she does a great job. I highly recommend this entire series if you’re into straight up romance and character building.

Making Peace

Paisley Jane Hill runs a consulting company that helps businesses fix their problems and grow their businesses. Trinity Pascal had an idea and she and her best friend started a business. Paisley is hired to help them get their business stabilized and growing. Just one problem, they had gone to boarding school together and Paisley’s friends had bullied Trinity and she had not stopped it. Can two enemies come to an agreement and move to a new dynamic? Great series that I love.

Paisley you spicy minx!!!

I not sure how to really put into words what I listened too? I can say this, Paisley sounds really hot and sexy! When you read you have this voice in your head you connect with the characters, never once in a million years would I ever associate that voice with Paisley! Thank you so much Carolyn Eve for putting that voice in my head! And thank you narrating what was a fantastic read for me, but a very enjoyable listen as well! Thank you Nicole Pyland for writing another fantastic story!

This series gets better with every book.

Nicole Pyland delivers another great couple. Her dialogue is great, the circumstances are relatable and the on page chemistry is palpable. I enjoyed it immensely.
