About this listen

A slightly unsettling story of an elderly couple who find themselves in the possession of an enchanted Monkey's Paw that allows the owner three wishes. While this seems either a boon or a dash of nonsense to the couple they ultimately make their first wish. The result was perfectly aligned with their request, but the cost related to the answer was more than they bargained for. A classic cautionary tale about the unintended consequences of always getting what you want and the new chain of events that follow. Narrated by Glenn Hascall.

It was a good story. I Love the message it sends.

My favorite part of the story was when the man got the 200 pounds. 😮.
