Still exciting.

I was thrilled by this tale years ago in what I remember was a pulp magazine and the suspense still worked many, many years later.

Good production. Five Stars *****

Good narration

BJ Harrison started off a little snarky but eased into the story without distraction. His characters were distinct and engagingly performed.

Intriguing short story.

The story itself is interesting and flows nicely as the narrator does a great job of telling the tale. It has some predictable elements but is still a good short story. The writer does have a way with words that is not too complex, yet still keeps one involved.

Wonderful Classic

This was a great listen! B. J. Harrison did a splinted job narrating. I recall seeing the movie a long time ago. It is always nice to slip in a short story in between longer listens. You can't go wrong picking this up. It was a bargain.

A Good Classic to Have

Any additional comments?

This is beautifully written and is worth the price. It explores the theme of instinct verses reason and it is great to trace how the protagonist changes throughout the story. I especially liked the irony at the end, well I won't spoil it for you if you haven't read it. It is human nature at one of its darkest and what is more chilling, is that we all struggle between instinct and reason to greater or lesser extent and this classic piece questions the thin line that we all stand on. It is suspense and weather your read it just for fun or to deconstruct it to its bones, it is a fantastic read.
