Publisher's summary

In this captivating new Regency trilogy, best-selling author Ella Quinn picks up where her beloved Worthingtons series left off, as three Lords of London discover true love at last...

Handsome, rakish, incorrigibly flirtatious - Fredrick, Lord Littleton, is notorious. Lady Adeline Wivenly is resolved to keep him at arm's length during her first season - until she overhears another woman's plot to trick him into marriage. Even a rogue is undeserving of such deception, and Adeline feels obliged to warn him - only to find herself perilously attracted...

In the past, Littleton's charm nearly got him leg-shackled to the wrong woman. Now he's positive he's found the right one, for Adeline is everything he wants and needs in a wife. Her sense of justice is so strong she agrees to help him despite her mistrust. But can the ton's most elusive lord convince the lady he is finally serious about marriage - as long as she will be his bride?

The Most Eligible Lord in London

I am always happy to be able yo read an Ella Quinn novel! She is able to ,seemingly effortlessly, make you fall in love with her characters! Lovely regency storyline with all of the social requirements of the day for "the Season" in Londoners efforts to find love and/or elevate their social & financial status. If you are able to purchase both the book and the audio book you will be able to experience Rachael Beresford render a wonderful narration. Great read with a HEA. 😊

Thoroughly enjoyable

This slow burn novel follows the development of the relationship between a young woman who is initially prejudiced against the hero due to a poor choice of his some time back.
I really enjoyed the emotional intelligence of the main characters, as well as their awareness of their own weaknesses.
Even though we know that it will end in the HEA, suspense still builds through different plot devices.
I remain unconvinced the narrator is a good fit for the novel, however.

Good story, semi clean

I liked it. It was a proper courtship. Very clean until the wedding. There are many other threads of course, since this is the 1st book of the series we are introduced to several new characters and reminded of others we met through the Worthington series. Therefore we encounter multiple villians, victims, secrets and new possible couplings.
The writing is excellent! The characters have relatable issues and lots of charisma.
This narrator is not my favorite but I thought she did a good job.
I can't wait to move on to book 2. I Highly recommend this read!

Loved

I really enjoyed this story. Romance, good deeds, a scoundrel, fun, and a happy ending

A Lot

There were a lot of subplots in this novel, but it was still entertaining. I recommend it!

A gentle visit with a courting couple.

At first the Baron does not think of the Earl's daughter as a possible spouse. Maybe because she is merely a pretty girl and not an acclaimed beauty.
Maybe his courtship was hampered by the fact that he spent most of the last season raising the expectations of her best friend before skipping out on the girl with out a word.
Maybe because the young lady puts her friends feelings first and the girl is bitter.
So, now the dear Baron has to devote himself to the long hunt. He has to really work for his intended affections.
It is an amusing look at the efforts the pair goes through.

Not worth my time.

This could be a good story, but the narrators make it so boring, it’s just not worth listening to.

Horrific Narration

I loved the EQ Wentworth series, and was excited to start a new series by this author. This first book is okay, with very little chemistry between the h/h, but the story is interesting.
There are also several couples that get together, so it's a 3 for 1 romance. The details on the other 2 couples are limited. The story sets up the others in the series, as you become interested in the group of friends.
The horror is the narration. I forgot how awful this narrator reads a book. The male voices are especially terrible. There is no emotion and the dialogue is clipped and without any warmth or personality. In this book there is a requirement for a West Indian accent. I'm from the west indies and I have never heard anything like that in my life. It was painful to hear this narrator attempt the accent...that sounds a little like a cross between French and italian...but nothing remotely from the islands. This is somewhat insulting and should probably not even been attempted. She is an awful narrator, so doing an accent /or not could not help the performance.
I really want to listen to the rest of the books in the series, but not if they are read by this narrator. If you have heard her and don't have a problem, then this might be a book you can enjoy, but I could not. If you have not heard this narrator, then beware!!
This book is not worth the credit and I can't recommend it .
