Evil awaits.

After the devastating events on Prism Lake, Grady and the other survivors head south, hoping to find safety in one of the rumored "Cities of Light".

But as they embark on their journey, they quickly discover the monsters aren't the only things out in the snow they must fear.

This series is good. I liked the characters and how they grew, I was very into Chewy who joins later on and think the concept behind the series is cool.

Entertaining read

The worst of humanity comes out and WTF is going on with the creatures?
SPOILERS…….

What could they be? Aliens? Demons? They live in the dark, want their environment to be frozen and snowy, seem to disintegrate in the light, they all look different, they can control minds, can read your mind and make you hallucinate!

What type of creature is like this?
Intriguing.

I KNEW IT.

Why must the author “prepare us” for what’s coming next??? There’s a lot of foreboding in this series, and it gets VERY annoying.

ALL. THE. FOREBODING!!!!

I love this series, but be warned that this one has a very graphic scene near the end.

This is a great series! The narrator does a great job in creating well rounded characters and keeps the story moving! I had a hard time shutting it off because I wanted to know what happens next! Very interesting supernatural story! Listen and you won't regret it

Need the next audio book!!

Another well written and narrated book. I’m rooting for the group. Sad when a member dies. On to book 4

Book 3 and still hooked

This was an unexpected roller-coaster. I don't read a ton of horror and I'm picky about the ones I choose. I love being scared, watching scary movies, but the gruesome stuff is hard at times because I can't stand to see/hear/read about people being tortured. And with an audiobook, you can hear the screams and sometimes sound effects. I didn't do a ton of research on this series. Saw it was a weather related dystopian with some sort of supernatural "being" and hit play haha I have not been disappointed. This book rocked me to my core. So much tension and excitement, if I hadn't been driving at the time I probably would've skipped a head some, but there was some torture and even crying. I'm not used to being so character invested on a horror movie haha I had to immediately being the next book and I'm hoping to finish the series by tomorrow. The series gets better and better with each book!!
