About this listen

Ten teens. Three days. One killer.

It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives - an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie are looking forward to two days of boys, booze, and fun-filled luxury. But what starts out as fun turns twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine. And things only get worse from there.

With a storm raging outside, the teens are cut off from the outside world. So when a mysterious killer begins picking them off one by one, there's no escape. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on one another, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?

Decent

It is not too thrilling, but a solid story. It's a little predictible, but I enjoyed the story and narrator.

Good read

It was mostly a good read if you’re into thrillers and or Investigation being predominant in the story building

Edge of your seat good!!

I read a lot, as I work in a library! This was a fantastic story! Literally could not put it down! Characters were incredibly real, and the story teller did a stellar job of keeping the moments as intense as was meant to be read! Most definitely 👍👍 for the story & presentation!!

Suprised!

Enjoyed this, listened in one day at work. Normally I dont go into the free included books with high hopes, but this kept me enthralled the whole time! Not super scary, definitely a teen slasher kind of energy, but good overall!

Interesting Twists

I thought the book was going to end up being a boring teenage drinking fest with some kind of accidental death & the preceding cover up because the first few chapters were kind of boring.

The book took a turn and then just kept getting more and more intriguing which ended up being a good listen with a great performance!

TEN

this is my second time reading the book, the only time i’ve heard it read to me and being able to hear the emotions of the characters helped connect a little better and understand the pain or fear or happiness someone felt. sometimes i did feel the emotions conveyed in some areas was a little much, but all in all, it’s a great read.

Murder mystery

Lame. The characters didn’t do anything reasonable the entire time, the main character proved to be just a literal idiot. The book had a fun premise and got worse and worse as the story went on. The girl who read it did a good job, though.

Missing something

Went into this book hoping for a good story like any other murder mystery sleuth. The plot building was alright but the narration built up zero angst or tension. Overall good story but felt something was missing majority of the time
