Publisher's summary

Spirit and Stone. Song and Sky. Fate and Future all align.

On my 17th birthday, I finally heard Fate’s voice. He whispered to me again and again, insisting I find the Omen of Stones. Having never heard of such lore, I thought I could ignore his pleas. The summer solstice proved otherwise. Being surrounded by fellow witches worked my magic up into a powerful swell that crashed and churned within me. As the energy crackled through my veins, I shunned my royal duties to follow the call of my heart.

Venturing beyond the safety of the kingdom’s borders, I felt Fate nudging me toward a destiny I was eager to claim. Confidence in my craft blinded me from the ominous clouds of danger that roiled on the horizon.

Captured by purists dead-set on purging the kingdom of magic and witches, my salvation came in the form of a mysterious girl who wielded stones like daggers. Something about her called to me, whispering we were stronger together, strong enough to stand against the dark forces threatening to crush my kingdom. Trusting Fate could jeopardize my heritage and my throne, but defying him could cost Omen’s life.

The Omen of Stones is takes place in the world of When Wishes Bleed, bestselling YA fantasy novel from Casey L. Bond.

EXCELLENT 2nd Book!!!

This is the first book in this series was amazing. I should not have expected anything less from book two. This book picked up right where book two left off. it was an amazing continuation of an amazing story of the next generation. I can't wait to see where the author goes with this series next (fingers crossed for book three)

Brillant!!

I enjoyed the fact that the second book continued onto the story of Sable & Tauren's son, River.
River and Omen's story was wonderfully captivating and develops beautifullu.

Casey L Bond's imagination is brilliant!

Intriguing, Emotional, Captivating

I enjoyed the narration within this book.

As for the book itself, it’s na intriguing, emotional-filled, magical book centered around finding one’s place and trusting those whom fate places in your path.

This world is amazing.

I love this world. The diversity of magic and the varied environments are amazing.
And since its a standalone fantasy romance, I was all in. There aren't enough standalones in this genre.
The dialogue was a bit wooden at times, as with the previous book in this world, but some the characters' personalities still came through. Sky was my absolute favorite and the easiest for me to relate to. She honestly reminds me of my best friend from high school, and I loved her part in the story.
The reiterations of things when new characters were brought into the story was a bit tedious, but the plot was interesting and the big magical battle at the end was pretty well done.
The narration was far better than the narration of When Wishes Bleed, though the narrator did pronounce "shone" as "Shawn" which threw me off.
All in all, I highly recommend this standalone fantasy romance.

Felt very young

Kinda cheesy but good all the same, narrated nicely. As a full fledged adult it felt a little bit too young for me

This is a really nice read

If you like Casey Bond, this wont let you down. This is technically book 2 of the series but you could easily read this fiction "stand alone." Triplet witches, fate and the battle for survival will keep you listening for the reasonable 9 hours. Action packed almost the whole time, I found it hard to take a break from it, and pondered the story line in my downtime.

No spoilers here :)

Amazing! Breathtaking!

I loved the first book in this series but the narration was lackluster so I was hesitant to start this one. I am beyond happy I did! This was hands down THE BEST narration I've listened to. I was captivated and hooked the whole time. Made this story absolutely amazing!

Fantastic

One fantastic book that gives us more of the characters we already love, plus new ones to swoon over. This was deeply layered and beautifully written. The villains were multi-faceted and discovering all the different reasons to their actions was very intriguing.

I love a prophecy series and this duology gave us spectacular entertainment as it wove its magical path. Omen is sweet and River is definitely hero material. Watching them meet and fulfill their destiny was one brilliant and insightful journey.

I am sad to see the conclusion of this witchy world. I loved the witches and the abilities that they could wield. This was absolutely unputdownable with phenomenal world building and gorgeous imagery.

Good story- not extremely substantial

The story was good, but I did not like the Insta-attraction between omen and river. The voice actor was great in terms of switching between the character, but she reads extremely fast in the beginning. I feel like the characters didn’t give enough development and it moves extremely quickly.
