Publisher's summary

Of the 10 million bits of information our brains process each second, only 50 bits are devoted to conscious thought. Because our brains are wired to be inattentive, we often choose without thinking, acting against our own interests - what we truly want.

As the former chief scientist of Express Scripts, a Fortune 25 health-care company dedicated to making the use of prescription medications safer and more affordable, Bob Nease is an expert on applying behavioral sciences to health care. Now, he applies his knowledge to the wider world, providing important practical solutions marketers, human resources professionals, teachers, and even parents can use to improve the behavior of others around them and get the positive results they want.

Easy listening behavioral economics

After having already read Kahneman, Thaler, Sunstein and Ariely, this book was a refreshing refresher that gave me a few new examples while not adding anything new to the underlying theories.

Only required 20 bits

Humorous? Yes.
Good concepts? Yes.
Could it have been 2/3rds shorter to still convey the same message? Absolutely.

Seemingly geared more for big business than individual use.

Truthfully interesting communication skills

Could not go to bed before I have heard it all because it was suggested by my son and will not hesitate to recommend it

Not what I expected

Nothing useful for day to day life style. it's probably better for some major corporations!
