About this listen

Rand is now employed by SA, but they remain unaware of his true strength. Simultaneously, the world's Monsters are growing more powerful, and he's on the brink of discovering unsettling knowledge. This compels him to reconsider his abilities. Fortunately, he doesn't have to deal with the Ulliam Fruit, except for the remnants still scattered around. Rand hopes these remnants are rare or non-existent.

During his tenure at SA, he learns that not all Superheroes are bad people; although, the majority are. With assistance from his contacts within, Jim and Mike, Rand uncovers concealed information that SA kept from world governments. Now, with support from Linda and later Sue, his objective is to establish global stability. However, despite Lilamiatomo's assurance that external threats to Earth are not a concern, the monster problem escalates beyond initial estimations.

Embark on a journey with Rand and his companions as they engage in a race to determine the victor: humanity or the monsters.

Still enjoyable and has a lot of potential…

I am continuing to enjoy this series. I continue to hope for a certain future that is still possible. The MC is growing more into his powers and becoming more versatile. Though, I am hoping for more effort for him to actually make his power truly his… I mean that he is just throwing power at everything, lacking skill. Though he is progressing and getting better. Which has so much potential for more!

I like the ladies and I’m enjoying the growing relationships. Especially that his best friend is still part of the series and his finance remains his. The MC doesn’t need to have every single woman. And the family doesn’t have to just push everyone else to the sides.
Yes, I am looking forward to the next book!

A well written and narrated story. Love to hear what happens next to Rand. Saving the earth and fighting monsters. What more could we need.

Nice series

This one closed a nice story arc, and foreshadows some next level stuff for the future. I like the character development and the performances from the narrators. This one is PG13 in the explicit portions of the book for those looking for some a little less intense.

Decent follow up

This is a decent follow up to book one. A bit slower pace and seems to have lost its way part way thru

Love the story and the characters

The story is great. It allows more people to listen to the book cutting out any adult scenes. The voice acting is good the distinct voices make it easier to follow the story with who is talking also.

More. I need more!

The crew is coming together and finding out that the super's organization isn't as good as they thought.
It looks like it's time to clean house and not get killed in the process.
Being the most powerful super on the planet does not mean he's unkillable. He may need to be a bit careful when dealing with really powerful supers and monsters.
Such an awesome book and series.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars and really want the next one.

Seems like author regressed a bit. Possible spoilers included.

While I like that the MC doesn’t mind dealing with those who need to be dealt with, I hate how this was written. The idea of killing all of all the lower level people, even those who were forced to participate and/or were sexually assaulted in the process, is questionable to me but I made it past that part. Then you simply compel the mastermind to not commit crimes? To make it worse none of the subordinates went after the MC, but the mastermind did. Yet they get to keep their power and position with a commitment to not harm the MC and his team? What about the regular people the MC was using to justify his crusade to begin with? Are they ok to harm? What about the lives of the supers who were doing wrong but may have been under duress, could they not have been compelled to not commit crimes or harm the “hero’s team”? This is worse than stories where everyone gets away with a slap on the wrist and the public is left in the dark. If anybody dies it should be the one at the top! I hate books where the villain is too powerful to kill because it would “destabilize everything”. I listen to and read books to escape reality, not to hear more about powerful people screwing over regular people and having their subordinates get punished while they just keep on keeping on. Makes me think of big bank execs and other ceos getting away Scott-free while everyone else suffers. I’m not even going to finish the book.
