About this listen

Dominic's world had been a fairly simple life.

To live his life to the best of his abilities, gain experience, level up, and strive to enjoy himself as best he could in a backwater. Which, while tough on its own, was made infinitely harder by his father being the local executioner.

All of that becomes infinitely worse when his entire family is murdered.

Dominic is then thrust into a war between noble houses that had been put on hold for generations. A war that the royal family lost, and now only had one true heir and claimant: Dominic Randolph.

Now, a voice that's supposedly a Dragon, who happens to be an ancestor, is talking to him. Dominic can have four classes at the same time, which is impossible, and his max levels have skyrocketed to heights unknown.

These are just the first of his royal gifts to be taken back even as the country descends into chaos as the Randolph family returns.

Armed with a new name, his father's axe, a map leading him to a Dungeon, and whatever he could stuff in a backpack, Domnic's adventure begins.

A good story with well thought out mechanics.

A very good story. Well thought out game mechanics and The Dungeon Economics make sense. The sex was kept under control, R not X.

I NEED MORE

Lewis Alexander's come along way in his voice acting for me, I don't Find his voice grating any more, which is a plus because he wasn't terrible to begin with, I just unfortunately didn't care for his voice. Roslyn is good as always, the story is excelent, and isn't bogged down with constant sex scenes, there is the right combination of romance, action, and drama. There were a few points where I thought that certain plots or relationships would be dropped or ignored, but it turns out William has done a great job keeping them all tied together, either for later plot, or resolved by the end, and does a good enough of a job building up relationships throughout the story before game of thronesing them when he does do it.

Takes a min to hook you

A little slow to start, but it brings you in by the first hour. I recommend this.

decent

This story follows the same trend as the more recent Arand books. It is as if multiple people are writing it and disagree with eachother on everything. Characters and plot points can be introduced and dropped like it's written linear and the next writer just says nope don't like that, how about this now. It is also hard to believe Arand is actually writing these stories now because they don't follow any of his trends/style for MANY of his older books. With all that said I still gave 4 stars because it is entertaining, and ultimately this is entertainment

Unsurprisingly amazing ❣️

Another unsurprisingly amazing book by Arand!
I'm not going to be able to describe properly how much I'm looking forward to this series and how it eventually interrelates to the Arand/Darin universe.
Orphaned prince on the run and hiding from his family's killers that are now in power.
AWESOME!!!
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.
