About this listen

Magic is real—all the myths and legends of mankind come from a place that actually exists. And Jonathan is about to go there…

The world of Skyhall awaits, unlocked by a mysterious inheritance from Jonathan’s eccentric, adventuring uncle. The threats are legion—dungeons, undead, wyverns, and beastfolk—but Jonathan has a unique class that will give him the power to expand and improve his own airship. In time, he will turn it into a veritable fortress and flying palace.

Also, he won’t be going to Skyhall alone. His high school crush, Mackenzie—who has had a serious glow-up—will be joining him. And who knows who else Jonathan will meet on his journeys to complete his adventuring party?

Average Fast-paced Adventure

There is a lot of venturing with many battle scenes and cost action. This comes at cost. There is not much characterization nor world building.

Even though part of a series, this is a good one off. That said, I will stop here. The McMuffin was collected at the end and the characters lack motivation, which will likely make the next book a slog to get through.

straight up SIMP TRASH

where to start...was hard or impossible to care about any of the characters. everything seemed superficial lacking any depth. the MC is a SIMP & the male narrator didn't help it at all. it has the usual over explanation/ justification tropes as a lot of other authors of this genre write. it's like they're trying to justify a harem to the readers which is retarded. I will not get anything else from this author.
