Publisher's summary

From USA Today and international best seller Grace Callaway

She wanted the one thing her husband couldn't give: his heart.

When Fate throws tinker's daughter Fancy Sheridan into the arms of Severin Knight, the Duke of Knighton, neither are prepared for the consequences. Fancy, who has always dreamed of a passionate fairy tale love, finds herself wed to a stoic nobleman whose heart belongs to another. Knighton, who needs a high-born lady to shepherd his illegitimate half-siblings through the ton, now has a wife who knows nothing of society and cares even less about its rules.

Fancy and Knighton's marriage of convenience is further complicated by the attraction that smolders between them. By day, Fancy works to transform herself into a proper lady, but by night her powerful duke seduces her senses. Knighton, in turn, is captivated by his plucky and resourceful duchess, whose sweetness unleashes his deepest desires and slowly forces him to confront the truth of his own heart.

As the slow burn of the Knightons' marriage reaches a fever pitch, dangerous secrets rise from their pasts to threaten their happiness. To survive, Fancy and Knighton must lay bare their hearts and vanquish their darkest demons. Will they risk everything to win their happily ever after?

She deserved more

I actually loved the story and it’s probably one of the better plots in the series. But I kept waiting for Knight to deserve her love and to me he never really got there. Fancy was a delight but I wished she realized her worth earlier.

OUTSTANDING NARRATION!!

OMGosh!! The Return of the Duke is my favorite story in Game of Dukes series. I gave all of these stories 5 stars. The Audible Narration by Marian Hussey is Amazing. Just Excellent in every story!!

The 5th and final story is about Severin Knight Duke of Knighton and Fancy Sheridan daughter of a Tinker. Or is she really his daughter? Who is Fancy?

I could not put down my kindle. I listen to the audible version in one setting. It was so good. Its one of those make you feel good stories. There is not a character that you will not like. Except the villains of course.

I Highly Recommend Game of Dukes series! Especially the Audible version!

Fancy and Knight

Fancy and Knight, what a love story and what a searing sex life!
I can’t tell you how many times I was extremely frustrated with Knight. His belief about love drove me crazy but Fancy sure saw through his bullshit. She was a fantastic character that you couldn’t help, but be in love with. The plot was mainly driven by the love story, and the mystery was secondary . Coming at the end of this set of series it was worth it. I kind of rounded out all the love stories. There could’ve been more at the end, but I always believe that. It’s like we go through these wonderful stories to have a half an hour of happy ending. This one was definitely a little bit more unbelievable than the other tales but again it was worth it. I think as a standalone book I would not have given it as high of a rating, but as the end of the series, it deserves four stars.
On a sidenote, Marian was a fantastic narrator as always.

Very enjoyable book

Love this narrator. She does many voices and her male voices are believable. The Dukes voice was very sexy, especially in passionate moments. The story was interesting and I liked all the characters in the families and friends. It kept me interested beginning to end. Good author good narrator equals perfect!

The ending was so sloppy

That story had a piece of couple chapters but I think she needed a quick ending so she just put whatever. The epilogue was good. But to read that entire story only to have that choppy ending was disappointing
