Lot of lore.

Throughout the books, I have listened to, the inner connection of characters and the incredible improvement of each, have a beautiful progress bar of success to the story.

Naofumi and Party faces the Tortoise Spirit

Honestly, I had been waiting for this audiobook to come out for months also I have appreciated that Narrator who has been true the characters and improved a lot with his performance and range with his voice. I am grateful for his time and effort to bring these characters to life.
Naofumi, Raphtalia ,Filo, and now Rishia who recently joined the party due to be falsely accused by Itsuki and his party members because she was deadweight to them. Ironically that could be said the same to the three Heroes: Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki because of the blunder of their hubris and incompetency in last wave of disaster Cal Mira islands. Glass, L'arc, and Therese who are invaders of another world defeated the Three Heroes easily. While Naofumi and his party had barely held on last fight before Wave of Disaster time limit ended on technicality in Naofumi's and his party victory.

Because of what happened to last wave the three heroes' Reputation had begun to declining rapidly that people are beginning to lose faith in them. As for Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo are getting recognition from the people with respect and Admiration. Naofumi had already a lot work cut out for him because waves of disaster are get much tougher and hard time ahead. He has to rebuild Raphtalia's old village and train hard with Old Lady as Naofumi refers to because he does not know names very well. Esclair who is new ally to Naofumi because her father was killed in first wave of disaster who governor of Raphtalia original village. The Queen Mirellia and Naofumi agrees it would be beneficial all them be trained together including the Three Heroes. However the prideful Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki been that intentionally refuse acknowledge their shortcomings. After attending only ten days trying the Three Heroes believing this was complete waste of time.
Ren had been defeated humbly by Esclair because is she better swordfighter through skill than Ren who had resorted using magic to cheat.

Because of the fruitlessness results of their training for the Three Heroes begun to leave to do another way to level up. Also they wanted get ahead start by facing threat of the Tortoise Spirit. It has been destroying nearby cities that the Three Heroes wanted to prove they can defeat it without Naofumi who they still believe he is cheater. The Queen has lost track of them ever since they went to the Tortoise Spirit. They are missing which mean that Naofumi has no choice but there be there in frontline with other countries army to take down the Tortoise Spirit.

Terrible performance

Story is fine. I’ll keep listening, but the narrator needs to be replaced. It’s like Captain Kirk mixed with AI vocal cadence. Easily the worst audio narrator I ever heard
