A Tommy and Tuppence Bifurcating Delight

One of the most interesting things is how the plot follows one protagonist, then the other,, i stead of interleaving the narrative. You'll be held in suspense at a cliffhanger, only for the story to leave you good and proper for a time.

Amazing Agatha

English mystery at its best. This one was filled with lots of clues and potential villains. I had fun trying to figure things out. The narrator was very good. I didn’t have trouble knowing who was speaking. She did male speakers well enough that I completely forgot it was a woman speaking the dialogue. The mystery is full of contemporary times for Christie but it holds up well in the 21st century as a period piece. Great listen.

A little treat for you Marples.

It’s nice, and I appreciated the foreword of the actress. I though Tuppence and Tommy were a bit more serious, but honestly I don’t really care. Each word to me was full of emotion. I also love the narrator.
It’s a nice book.

Excellent book and performance . A masterpiece.

The book is a masterpiece, as all of Agatha Christie's book, but the performance by Ms Fox was outstanding.

Entertaining despite a saturation of modern movies

In despite of formulaic modern movies and story telling, this mystery novel still entertains and maintains mystery that is not cliche or heavy handed. I'd imagine that this is one of those cases where a movie adaptation might struggle capture enough of the charm. Such colorful characters and comfortable pacing!
