About this listen

Dan Deckler is a retired NYPD homicide detective now a private investigator. After concluding a case on Long Island's south shore barrier islands, he takes time to sit on the dunes of a surfing spot from his youth and reminisce. While he is watching a group of young surfers, the waves wash up a corpse to the shore at his feet. Eventually, the body is identified and a convoluted connection to Dan and his former NYPD partner comes to light. Police Procedurals Private Investigators Detective Surfing Island
