About this listen

Talut Forest is a lumberjack on Terra Nova, where life thrives in the crowns of trees twenty kilometers high. After a mistake at work costs him his job, Talut has no choice but to sign up for a suicide mission.

The aim of the mission? To investigate an artifact on the unexplored surface, where deep darkness reigns. But when the mission spirals into chaos from the start, Talut's fight to see his family again turns into a battle for the fate of the entire human race.

For fans of Cixin Liu, Andy Weir, and Frank Herbert—dive into this gripping sci-fi adventure where one man's desperate mission could change the course of humanity. Don't miss your chance to explore the unknown with The Ship.

this is potentially my last of Brandon Morris' books. I had been a fan, but the last 2 series have ended so abruptly. it was as though he just said "awesome I met the publishers 100k words (or whatever it is), I will just have the universe explode and not finish the story!". ok so that's not a spoiler, not saying the universe explodes, just a really abrupt pointless ending. sad

a shockingly abrupt ending
