I didn't realize when I started this book that it was a sequel to Elin Hilderbrand's book, "28 Summers", which I enjoyed a couple of years ago. "The Sixth Wedding" does nothing but attempt to quickly tie up any loose ends from the previous book. In fact, if you haven't read the previous book, don't bother with this one. You'll be lost. Everything falls in place quickly and too cleanly. No real plot, no suspense, no character development. Usually I'm sad when I finish a book because I've come to care about the characters. Not so with this book. It just ended. And I didn't really care.

So So Sequel

I finished this book a few weeks ago but I'm still salty. There are so many things I want to hear about the different characters. What's the point of putting out such a short book and leave everything worse than in the previous book????? ugghh

I can't believe she didn't continue the stories

So great to catch up with these characters! Please note…. This is a STORY. Not our usual novel by Elin Hilderbrand. The 3 hour time frame should clue you in. Well written and I always love Erin Bennett.

Great follow up STORY

Didn’t cover enough to be a book. It literally covers one weekend that is a sequel to 28 summers that I loved. This was too short.

Too short

Come in Elin! We depend on your summer book! More please?! Winter too? Sadly I had a hard time remembering the last book these folks was about too/ I understand ya need a break- but what’s summer without a full Elin novel?!

A little short?

28 summers is one of my favorite reads. This follow up to that amazing story is a gift to its fans!!! I look forward to more!!

Short but perfect

This book should have been the last chapter to 28 Summer. Shouldn’t be a book, the plot is just the ending to 28 Summer (which was fantastic).

Good ending to 28 Summer

It wrapped up well but only 3 hours?! Kinda surprised. It definitely provides closure but the addition of a new character was unexpected and kinda unnecessary.

It’s just so short..

Enjoyed the characters and revisiting lost loves. Need to complete the tale with the young couple
