About this listen

On a Continent where peaceful times are swiftly coming to an end, witness the rise of a young slave as he tries to climb to the peak of power. With a little luck gifted by the heavens and the determination to continue striving to be the best, will he become a figure who stands above all others or will he be another insignificant bump in history?

A word can save a life. A phrase can end a war. But a song can rule the world.

Cultivators, Songs, and Battles

Written in a manner that helped me quickly understand the continent of the five elements, “The Song of Swords” was truly a remarkable story. Every chapter was full of exciting characters, amazing new experiences, and many, many unexpected twists. The “genius” who becomes the authors focus begins as a poor child with dreams of one day joining his kingdoms elite legion of fighters, but, when gifted with a song, he is quickly thrust into a life of leadership at a very young age. Narrated by a talented vocal performer, you will learn to love, hate, and be entertained by the many voices dramatized within this well spoken text. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys exploring new worlds meeting powerful new warriors, viewing wondrous new lands, learning about exciting new weapons, and living within the boundaries of new customs and intensely imaginative skills.
