About this listen

All five audiobooks in the best-selling Limitless Lands series are now together in one collection!

Colonel James Raytak is about to die.

The 93-year-old combat veteran is living his last days in a nursing home, and his only hope for survival is found inside the virtual world of Limitless Lands.

With every swing of his sword and every command given to his army, Raytak is one step closer to returning to the people he loves. Many foes will stand in his path, and despite a lifetime of military experience and powerful allies, victory is not assured.

Outstanding!!!!

Very well thought out storyline, and very organized. I also appreciate the length of the series. It was not rushed and ended well. The world building was great as well as character builds. I highly recommend this series.

Reytak is still an awful commander!

just finished book 5 and I kind of just hung on because I was hoping that reytak would have an accident and die before he healed and that was how the books ended but alas it wasn't to be

reytak is a eunuch Commander at best but he was given an army. and because of this his his casualty rates are sky freaking high because he refuses to do his job and just throws himself in the combat.

still it's a pretty fun story like the diversity of characters and powers and whatnot. found it odd that players at level 15 were so freaking powerful like raytak has over a thousand soldiers the necromancer has four giant corpses that he's allowed to carry around and then they say that you're not even allowed to get a horse until level 40 how big are these guys armies going to be when they get there?

but all in all a good listen good job!!

Enough to make a grown man cry

Captivating and engaging story throughout. Interesting story concept and bittersweet ending. One of the best series I’ve listened to over thousands of audible listening hours

Great story with excellent narration.

Loved the value - an entire series for a credit. Engaging and fun! If only today’s AI’s could match this fictional one!

Touching and Heart Warming

Great story with an actual ending. Full of excitement, yet also has a heart warming protagonist and an interesting group of characters.

10/10

The story and the narrator was beyond my expectations. only complaint is book five (the last one) seems rushed. I think that could have been made into at least two books. some of the other books were rushed but 5 was defiantly rushed. Even considering that the book does more than enough to earn all stars possible.

Great story

The story is fantastic. The narrator is good but there are some inconsistencies with the use of voice modifications that distract from the story. It’s used to emphasize the AI speaking or things that are just thoughts, but sometimes he leaves it on or forgets to use it other times. A couple of times the recording is corrupted and there is some feedback.

Looking past the technology issues everything else is great.

A worthwhile listen for fans of the genre

This one comes in between 3 and 4 stars but I'll round up since this is by a smaller author. I did receive a free copy in exchange for an honest review

I enjoyed this despite not being a huge fan of LitRPG in general. I find that you either have a silly reason for being in a game or you just have stats and such for no reason because I said so. However, Limitless Lands has a relatively compelling reason for the character to be stuck in a game world

I'd almost call this series heartwarming in terms of the tone if not for the graphic violence

I enjoy Jack Voraces' narration quite a bit, but Southern accents might not quite be his thing. His narration is what drew me to this series in the first place and I'm glad I decided to check it out

Give this series a go if you're a fan of Voraces or the genre

Enjoyable litRPG

Wonderful story, great progression, mediocre ending. Good heartfelt moments sprinkled throughout. I felt the ending/ resolution was rushed.

Greatness

Sometimes every now and then a person comes across a story that truly catches their attention and tells them the story of the true aptitude of the author.

This was one such story for me. Not the first or last, but a story that I found gave a real sense of everything, right to the end.

A great story
A good performance
A good read
