Wrong Reader

I love M.R.James stories usually, but there is such a thing as absolutely the wrong reader. A British accent is absolutely the choice for his works, though a non-accented American voice would be OK. But a chew-baccy cracker Southern accent that continuously mispronounced words? Please...
