About this listen

In this thrilling novel from a #1 New York Times bestselling author, the great Texas Rangers go on a no-holds-barred pursuit of the most dangerous killer ever to terrorize Texas.

Texas Ranger Rory Yates protects his home state wearing a five-pointed silver badge and carrying a Sig Sauer.

When a native woman disappears on the summer solstice, clues point to a cold case.

Yates, a quick-draw champion, partners with expert archer Ava Cruz of the Tigua Tribal police.

The investigation leads to the edges of Texas’s most unforgiving landscape, where the officers take dead aim with every shot in their arsenals.

Needs a new career.

This Texas ranger needs to forget police work and just do trick shooting. He sucks as a law enforcement officer. He couldn’t protect himself from his own shadow..

Love The Texas Ranger series!!

Book 3 is by far the best,
Twists and turns on the storyline are expertly told.

Amazing narration and story

The narrator is fantastic with his Texas drawl. The story was spellbinding and couldn't wait to find out who the murderer was!

The story was a page turner…

The descriptions of the locations and characters were excellent. The story line was not only interesting but constant. Kept me on the edge of my seat. But the narrator was absolutely the best! I would read any book he narrates!

I love the character development and intensity

I thought I would not like a book about Texas or people that live in Texas. But I have found that I am a major fan of the Texas Rangers and I love the book. It kept my interest in a way that no other book has done in a very long time. I highly recommend it. For anyone that likes a great mystery and a great story.
