Remember this is just my specific prefrence

I love this story. I have loved it since I was a kid and was excited to listen to it. I didn't like how the actor protrayed the voices at all. The mom had so much attitude included into her voice and the girl was made to sound very whiney. They way the actor had them fighting was difficult to listen to. I know when a person reads a book they put their own feelings into each character and I believe the actor has their dramatic license to do so. It just made the book very different from the one I have read three times prior to listening to this shrill, headached version. Maybe teens will like it because it puts the mom in a horrible light and will feed their feelings of superiority over their parents. I may have just out grown the story as well. Each generation has a particular taste. Give it a try and decide for yourself, but always remember if you do not like a audible try reading the book. You may recieved a very different take when your own voice is projected into the characters.

My favorite Book

The Third Eye has been my favorite book since high School when my high school English teacher gifted me this book as well as a few others. I’ve read it every year since. I have loved listening to it on audible, the way the narrator read it was perfect! I think Robs and Karen’s love for each other is just absolutely amazing and breath taking story. I would love to see The Third Eye become a movie!

What did you love best about The Third Eye?

the character r real n u can put urself into her place n understand her better .

What other book might you compare The Third Eye to and why?

I would say Let Me Call You Sweet Heart because booth of them is about justice, friendship, n romance but the different is one for teen n the other is more for young adult.

Which character – as performed by Madeleine Lambert – was your favorite?

I kile all of them! She did a very great job of protraying them!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

yes! It make me both laught n cry too.

Any additional comments?

I belive this is a perfect book for any teen out there to read! I have told both of my little sister to read this book already n I would told teen who ask me what book should there read for fun.

Good Story, BAD Performance

I enjoyed the story, but the “performance” was terrible. It really took away from enjoying the book.

Good story line but....

The narrators voice was terrible so terrible that I made the point of noting her name so I would never purchase a book that she was narrating ... she ruined the book!
