Dagmar Marie Sophie is a poverty-stricken Danish princess whose annoying royal cousin is about to have her stuffed away in a convent. When she finds a wounded man unconscious in her garden, she sees a way out of her desperate situation. Leopold Ernst George Mortimer, seventh earl of March and a spy in the service of the king, finds himself on the wrong end of a saber and left for dead. He wakes up not remembering what happened - and in the care of a beautiful woman who says she is his wife. Back in London, Leo-with the help of his old friends the eccentric Britton family-sets out to unravel what he's forgotten. Is Dagmar truly the wonderful, irrepressible woman who makes his heart sing, or is she a dangerous enigma bent on his destruction? Contains mature themes.

As usual Allison Larkin is always giving her very well performance to voice the characters and make the story always enjoyable.
Short But Full Of Entertainment

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK

The H/H and the sub characters are ridiculous and the sexual content is almost constant. It does make you laugh at the absurdity of it all. If you're looking for a no brainer with plenty of ditzy characters, with a touch of mystery, this is for you.
Silly Regency romance, very light adult read

Not her best

The vague sex scenes were even worse, with a ditzy Dagmar treating Leo like a little boy.
She was all “oh, look at that yummy toosh” and grabs it, and he’s like “now it’s my turn” and grabs her, and then the narrator gives her worst Moaning Myrtle exclamations.
There are cameos from book 3’s characters that add little to the story, except to throw in an odd detour about their efforts to advance social causes. But, this is not a book of substance or deep thoughts, and this attempt to make it so wasted my time.
If this had been a novella, I might have called this a fun little romp.
At 10 hours, however, it was death by saccharine overload.
Too goofy and too long

This story was just stupid. It seems to author tried so hard to make it funny it turned out to just be really stupid and it took away from the funny moments.
The only plus I could find is there was lots of dialogue.
The heroine did start out fun and enjoyable but after a several chapters went down hill from there and she just became dumb. There was nothing very good about the hero either, he was just blah.
I would recommend the first book in this series for reading not listening.
No this book was not credit worthy, and that was disappointing to me.
The narrator added to to ruination of this book.
Nothing like the 1st book in this series!
