Publisher's summary

In this world, you take risks or die. Being kidnapped by the Sentient Computer Overlord of an alien planet and turned into a nymph didn’t exactly fit into Axel’s life plan, not that he had a plan, but certainly choosing what to do after college wouldn’t be as hard as fighting carnivorous squirrels to the death. At least his new body came with fabulous hair!

In this fast-paced, light-hearted, litRPG novel, Axel Davis, an apartment dwelling Los Angeleno, has the chance to live out a fantasy he never thought possible—leveling up and exploring a magical world full of monsters, dungeons, alchemists, dragons, and cities where swords are normal and acceptable accessories. The only catch is the warlord with a pet tiger, stupidly high charisma, and a bone to pick with Axel.

Very fun take on fantasy!

The humor is great, the world building is interesting and the learning how the world works through the eyes of the main character is really well done, and often humorous. It captures how daunting learning of a fantasy world can be while also being explained in a way that actually makes you want to learn more. I can see this series replacing Ready Player One in pop culture’s lexicon

Dan Rojas the reader did a perfect job on this. He was great at capturing many unique voices and delivering every line with perfect wit, tone, cadence, and inflection to convey and enhance the written words and bring the characters to life

Great start to a much bigger world

Fun story and easy to follow even with the stats coming in. The voice acting was fantastic and kept me plugged into the story the whole way through. Hope to hear more!

A diamond in the rough

In the isekai genre, there’s plenty of insufferable protagonist that border the psychopathic. Our hero here is a breath of fresh air and I’m enamored with the story and can’t wait for the next book! I also found Dan Rojas’ performance drew me deep into the story as if we were around a campfire. I’d love to hear more books narrated by him as well!
