This is a very entertaining, canonical story. It IS worth a listen for the story, I really like the plot and characters, but the audio is fairly bad.

The narrator’s style is very irritating to listen to. He reads slowly, with odd, and distracting, emphasis and phrasing unrelated to the text. It is as if the narrator is seeing the text for the first time. He’s style is so slow and hesitant, I had to listen to it at 1.2x speed. The quality of the audio is also tin-y and thin.

So, liked the story, probably will not pay to listen to this narrator.

Very Entertaining Story. Poor Narration and Audio

I enjoyed listening to The Watcher in the Woods: The Art of Sherlock Holmes Book 29 by Denis O Smith. The story was very good with the usual brilliant deductions by Holmes. The narration by Keith Spilsbury is also very good. He brings the story to life.

Good short Holmes story

This is a most enjoyable story where things are not quite what they appear in the beginning, but Holmes sets everything rift in the end.

Classic Sherlock Holmes
