About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author Cassia Leo comes a twisted and passionate love story that pushes the boundaries of loyalty.

Maybe we shouldn't have fallen so fast and so willingly. Maybe we shouldn't have moved in together before we went on our first date. Maybe we should have given our wounds time to heal before we tore each other to shreds. Maybe we should have never been together.

Houston has kept a devastating secret from Rory since the day he took her into his home. But the tragic circumstances that brought them together left wounds too deep to heal. Five years after the breakup, Houston and Rory are thrust together by forces beyond their control. And all the resentments and passion return with more intensity than ever.

Once again Houston is left with a choice between the truth and the only girl he's ever loved.

Amazing Love Story....

What did you love best about The Way We Fall?

This was one story that kept me glued to my iPhone. It was raw and emotional and even unimaginable (the letter). When reading a story like this, or in my case, listening to one, it's natural to root for love, believing that true love always wins. But sometimes things happen differently than we imagined. The only thing that I would have enjoyed more would have been if the female audio performer spoke all of Rory's parts and the male audio performer spoke all of Houston's parts. Even still, I definitely recommend this audiobook.

I loved it so much that I hated it!!!!

Cassia is ranked up there with one of my go too authors. Love her stories whether they be alpha or HEA.. Except this book... Made me wanna just cry at the end... I hated the end! I wanted my HEA, I wanted the make up and kiss kinda story- I needed it after listening the awful turn of events with her BEst friend... But Cassia didn't do that.. She broke you down and teased you and left you with your mouth open wondering why she did what she did... I'm hoping book #2 bring the couple back together....

Brickshop audio has awesome narrators, and there is no exception to the two narrators on this story. Both narrators brought the story alive in emotion and character.

This story wrecked me!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Way We Fall to be better than the print version?

It adds a new level of amazing to an already great story!

Have you listened to any of Erin Mallon and Lee Samuels ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love audiobooks where there is both a male and female narrator!

Any additional comments?

This story touched me in so many ways and just crushed me! I loved it but it tore me apart on so many levels!!! It will make you frustrated, angry, happy, you will laugh, you will cry but you will feel everything! This book is real, real life with all the ugly and I related in ways I have never related to a story before! Some will hate this book. Some will love it. I am on the love side and cannot wait to pick up The Way We Break!!!

Pretty good.

no one in this book has a healthy romantic relatonship. at some level each love is tragic. the main characters Rory and Houston have what could be an enviable love until you see how weak they were because of it. this story is well developed with great sex scenes. can't call them love scenes.

not your typical love

I liked this book, it wasnt typical, with crazy sex, it had more depth and that great "no way" factor.. Worth the credit..

heavy<br />

emotionally draining but impossible to put down. my heart hurt after reading this story, you love it and hate it all in the same breath. I wanted to hate these characters based on lack of morals but at the same time you can't help but feel for them, the deceit that surrounds them, and not even purposefully is wrenching to the core. great story but like I said...heavy.

Unpopular Opinion...

I love stories without happy endings. I love tragedy. It’s real and makes me respect the author more for daring to write it. I almost don’t want to read the next book. I like where this ended. This is very well written and well paced. It kept my attention from being to end even though a lot didn’t happen.

Narrators were great as always.

This is the first book I've read by this author. I thought the story was good, it takes you to past and present throughout the story. It's a story about first loves and how secrets can rip relationships apart. I liked it enough to make me want to continue the series. I team Houston and Rory and hoping for the HEA. As for the narration you can never go wrong with Erin Mallon, her collaboration with Lee Samuels is outstanding.
