Well needed
I needed this book. Mindfulness should be effortless. It should be a natural state of mind. And hopefully as soon as I apply what I have been learning for the next few years, it will become my natural state of mind.

Great perspective on mindfulness
This book is a must-have if you are interested in having less stress and accessing a flow state. I'd highly recommend it as a "operating manual" for the mind. That said, the glimpses go too fast in the audio book so if you don't have access to it through a subscription consider purchasing the book in writing instead. Kelly suggests recording them yourself at your own pace, but finding them and writing them down is a pain. I ended up paying for the Kindle copy when I really wanted to work with the techniques.

Important workbook on effortless mindfulness and awakening
This book is by far one of the most practical books I read on mindfulness, awakening and love. The practice exercises called glimpses took me beyond the chattering ego to a state of quiet awareness again and again. Many of my questions got answered. I am also grateful to the author for introducing IFS (internal family systems).

This is the way
As someone who has looked high and low for a real transcendence from a state of confused, haphazard and suffering mind, to an inner peace, self-realization and self-leadership—and having learned a lot from a lot of great teachers who got me to a certain point but still the promised land eluded me—Loch Kelly and his system of effortless mindfulness (a phrase that I think humbly masks the piercing insights it brings) were like that exalting ray of sunlight that finally break through the clouds.
I’d already been doing his program for a little while before I bought this book—mainly to get pointers on stabilizing the practice and the state of heart-mind. And I was pleased to find some great pointers in that respect.
Read this book. And/or sign up for Loch Kelly’s app. Do the work. I’d wager within a day or two you’ll be successfully glimpsing the awake awareness that is your true self, that’s been hiding there underneath your busy brain all this time, tantalizingly out of reach.
A couple weeks after that it’ll start to feel a bit more self-sustaining. And a few months after that: life (and YOU) will never be the same. In such a good way.

The most useful direct path awakening manual
This book and the accompanying "shift into freedom" audiobook is one of the most useful awakening tools that i have enountered in my search. Loch has the ability to translate oftentimes arcane and complex mahamudra teachings into simple yet profoundly powerful awakening excercises that will enable you to shift into your natural state - awake awareness and allow you to operate from there. Awakening to, and living from awake awareness is truly transformative and must be directly experienced to be believed. Life suddenly becomes so much more simple, direct, clear and compassionate, while the ego armor slowly starts dissolving away, and with it so much unnecessary suffering. And this is incredible. I wholeheartedly recommend earnestly and diligently applying these excercises - glimpses over and over again. Once they become your second nature you will feel freedom and happines of your natural state you probably haven't felt since your early childhood. The teachings on awake awareness are a real gift to humanity, and it is hard to find more skillful, kind amd gentle guide then Loch. Thank you Loch for your wonderful teachings from the depths of my awake awareness!
I only wish that Loch had narrated.

Horrible narration
Loch Kelly is a wonderful writer and teacher, but the narration ruined it for me. What should be a relatively straightforward performance is instead delivered with the intensity of a suspense thriller. I was so distracted by the narrator’s style, I found it impossible to focus on the message of the book. I truly hope Loch will re-release this audiobook with his own narration.
