Empowering

I have listened to all of the books and this one is by far the best for giving parents the tools we need to actually impact our children's behavior

A must read for parents

We are struggling with kids ages 8 and 10 and I wish I had read this book 10 years ago. There's excellent tips from toddler to preteen. A few points we did not agree with, but overall I am incredibly excited to implement these strategies and see improvements with our children. Wasn't a fan of the narrator's voice, and sped the book up to a reasonable pace, but listen for the content and get a hard copy to go back to and help with your personal parenting plan.

sensible but with an agenda

There is some good and sensible advice here washed down on all the "god-babble". The underling idea of how to be a leader to your children is sound. He doesnt seem to consider church going as another "extra curricular Activity" yo avoid. Apparently a well behaved child must also be god fearing. To put it in the authors words: Hogwash
