This story falls neatly into the standard anime genre. It has many of the standard clichés that you find in this genre. Despite all of that, it’s still a fairly decent story. The main character being a weak to overpowered protagonist as the story continues is still an interesting journey. It is just too bad that it feels like the author had a checklist he followed when he set this storyline up.

Good somewhat predictable.

As good as the last one, nice power progression with some new info about the dungeons. My only problem is the MC he is simultaneously a very smart MC but also completely stupid. The second he interacts with anyone who isn't a monster, its like he becomes brain dead, I get having the whole, Dense MC trope and shit but this is honestly too much, it just makes him sound stupid all the time. Ill listen to the next one but if nothing changes, im gonna probably drop this series...

It's ight

I think book two was better and worse at the same time, worse because there is more conversations between the MC and the girls so more cringe and better because the mc didn't go full lawful good on the fight with the main antagonist or have a moral compass break down

good one

I’ve read the manga long ago so I’m trying to stay with this audiobook. How STOP SAYING LV! It’s LEVEL! For god sakes that is annoying! I literally had to stop listening to this audiobook several times because of it.

I’m trying

I actually liked this one better than the first. While it was still childish, I was pleasantly surprised that the MC has a spine. If only they didn't make him completely oblivious when it comes to girls liking him, then he'd be even more likeable. Oh well.

Pleasently Surprised

All the female characters are beyond annoying. I feel sorry for the MC. If I were him I'd put those girls in their place. By not standing up for himself he encourages their terrible behavior. The MC needs to do more telling people to mind their own business and less apologizing. Grow some spine, jeez. I like the concept of this series, but it definitely doesn't measure up to Solo Leveling.

Annoying girls
