Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I don't think so... I felt the story was very incomplete.... I actually thought it was the first of a series or something. Nope, not the case.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Very disappointed! Nothing like leaving you with a ton of unanswered questions. I felt there was a lot of story spent on the mindless, but sometimes funny, thoughts of the female character when it could have been spent on finishing/rounding out the whole story.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Spencer Locke and Jose Julian ?

Maybe... maybe not.The female voice was a little annoying but it could have been the character/personality of the character the narrator was trying to portray. The male voice was fine. Also, I kept having to turn the volume down for the girl and up for the boy.

Was The Young World worth the listening time?

Nope. Not with that ending.....

Any additional comments?

This story had so much potential but failed to deliver. The plot is interesting and there are some interesting characters but neither developed into something I will think much about.... Maybe the plot a little and where it could have gone but didn't. When if finish a book I want to miss the characters and story a little. That didn't happen.
