Warning: excellent plot; horrific cliffhanger!

What made the experience of listening to The Zombie Chronicles, Book 2 the most enjoyable?

The actor who voices this series is great! The fact that it's okay for certain older kids to listen to, also makes it awesome. I love being able to share my love for books with my son, as he is a captive audience during our two-plus hour commutes on Fridays and Sundays.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Zombie Chronicles, Book 2?

I'm going with the ending. When they walk into that hotel room with door already open... What they find is astonishing! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Have you listened to any of Mikael Naramore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only book one of this series, but he is very talented in switching characters, and makes the story come to life!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh, I wanted to! So badly! But I was sharing it with my kiddo during our weekend drive time, and he made me PROMISE to wait for him to finish!!!

Any additional comments?

Just that you should prepare to buy book 3, as this one ends rather abruptly in an excruciating scene! What???? What happens next??? Arggghhhhhh!!!!! Yeah, that kind of cliffie... Enjoy!

More action, less talking would be appreciated.

The saga continues with siblings Nick, Dean and Val along with survivors Lucas, Jackie and Clair heading out on foot once again. Against Nick’s better judgement the group picked up survivor-hitchhiker Tahoe. When the group woke in the morning Tahoe was gone along with their Jeep vehicle, go figure. The horrible realization was that the vials of the cure were gone too. With fear and anger the group saddled up and headed out to find Tahoe and the cure. During their search Val passed on and turned. Now they didn’t have the cure to give her. The story marches on as the search becomes more desperate. More action and less talking would be appreciated. Three.point.five for the effort.

Good listen

A wonderful short story continues in this installment. A piece about overcoming several obstacles. It's a great story for those looking for something different.

Much better than audible book 1

First, it the same narrator but he seem to have read and understood each character a bit more and really got into the characters heads and told the story thru each and every character eyes and told what they felt as if he was that character but again he disappointed me on Dean - Dean has started growing up and knows what he facing but as in the first book he reads Dean as a sappy kid who sounds like he should be in diapers and a wet nurse, yes Dean is 18 but in many ways he acts more grown up and the narrator seems to not get this about Dean were as he has the others characters spot on.

Waste of time and money

This series is one “to be continued” after another, i understand it’s a series, but it shouldn’t be broken up the way it is.
I got to book 3 before I gave up on the story, but if they would have done something along the lines of a FULL story in ONE book then this could have been decent.

I feel tricked...

I feel tricked. The narration from the 1st story was over dramatic and hard to listen to, but it ended with such a cliff hanger that I felt compelled to listen to the 2nd story only to have to endure the same bad narration and left with the same cliff hanger.

Unless it's a different narrator, I don't think I can endure the 3rd book. I guess I'm just not that curious.

The characters should have died many times.

Too much time spent on "feelings". And nervous mentioning of the wind blowing thru everyone's hair.
The group just seems common sense stupid.
An army tough guy & a cop allow some redneck idiots to disarm them? And they keep shooting all the time instead of noiseless kills & them act shocked when a bunch of zombies show up.
Romance & zombie plots really don't fit together.
