Second epic series of my favorite set of authors

I’ve read many great books by Eric Flint and Mercedes Lackey. Dave Freer is a new author to me and I would love to know more about his contributions to this series and other books that he has written. This book was golden; human relationships and more than one type of magic. The story of Pan mixed in with Roman Catholicism. I highly recommend this series if you like magic without systems.
