About this listen

How far would you go to keep a secret that could destroy the perfect family you've painstakingly created?

Ivy Abernathy's carefully managed life unravels when a stranger arrives in her adopted hometown of Savannah, exposing a secret Ivy has buried for nearly two decades. As she struggles to maintain control over her fragile world, a sudden tragedy plunges her into the middle of a high-profile murder trial, threatening to shatter the family she is fighting so hard to protect.

Set against the sun-soaked streets of Savannah, this gripping mystery intertwines Ivy’s concealed past with her chaotic present, unearthing dark secrets and challenging the strength of family ties. With shocking twists and moral dilemmas, Three Faces in the Mirror is a powerful story of deception, betrayal, and the desperate search for truth.
Fans of the suspenseful tension in Laura Dave’s The Last Thing He Told Me and the emotional complexity of Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper will be enthralled by Veronica Mixon’s Changing Faces: Three Faces in the Mirror, a riveting tale of secrets, lies, and the lengths we go to protect the ones we love.

Great story line

Really enjoyed the book. It was a newer theme and refreshing to have a unique story line.
I rated performance lower only because it was generated and some inflections were off or made the story a little harder to get into. But overall enjoyed the book.

Good read Horrible AI narration

I really enjoyed reading this book. Listening was painful. The AI voice never differentiates from character to character. Inflection is frequently inappropriate for the tone of the story. Names are often pronounced differently from sentence to sentence. I will only listen to human narration in the future.

The Virtual Narrative was distracting.

I liked the story but the inflection was all wrong. The virtual narrator sounded happy when the story was sad and visa versa. There was also no distinction between characters as there is with live performers. I would have enjoyed this much more if I was listening to an actor.
